  • Will MAGIX continue the Loops for ACID (Loops & Samples) ?

Posted by Francois Blawat on August 16, 2016 at 8:06 pm

    Hello,

I am just wondering if MAGIX will continue to make new releases and continue to sell the current Loops & Samples (what I still call Loops for ACID) ? With Mike S not on with Magix, I wonder where these great libraries and ACID will be or going. Should users buy the current libraries now before they are gone or will MAGIX continue selling them?

I still have not received any type of survey regarding Sound Forge or ACID for that matter. It is getting closer the end of the month and I just wanted to know what MAGIX is planning with the Loops & Samples libraries.

Hard for anyone here to say. Best if you drop them a line and hear what they have to say.
    Their response time is fast.

Eric Dettman from MAGIX has been on this Forum. Try Eric at MAGIX.

Now, as Eric reads these boards, and I’d have thought seen your post, and hasn’t said anything, he either doesn’t know or knows but can’t say.

    Steve & Graham,

Thanks. I’ll email and see what they say. I was hoping for a company response since I’m sure this will affect many users.

By the way, the process to create a ticket under Magix will need to be refined in my opinion. At least for me, it seems kinda backwards how they do it when using Firefox 45 esr edition.

The content was part of the acquisition and MAGIX does now own it. We are still currently in a transitional state where MAGIX is implementing infrastructure for selling and activating those products. At some point in the (likely near) future, those will be available for sale.

Thanks Eric for responding. Good to know that Magix is planning on selling these libraries and hopefully will create new ones in the near future.

    Thanks Steve! 🙂

I certainly hope so. This has been such an awesome platform since the late 1990s
