    Hey all,

I’m starting to reach the end of my research regarding my incompatibility with the Boris plugins and 5.1.2, and am concluding that the best thing to do might be to go back to 5.1. Will I lose any imporant features if I do this? I edit mainly in DV, DV50, and Uncompressed 8-bit, so I really don’t need support for the new HD codecs that they might have added between 5.1 and 5.1.2.

    Thanks for all thoughts,

    Nick

Off the top of my head: you will lose Media Manager improvements, DVDSP improvements, FxPlug enhancements, rendering engine improvements, etc.

You won’t be able to open 5.1.2 project in 5.1.
