Will DDR3 ram work in a macbook pro with DDR2 installed?
I have a macbook pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, with 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM..
I edit on FCP, and I’m looking to upgrade my ram to edit HD and Cineform footage more smoothly!
Someone has offered me 2 Gig’s of DDR3 ram and claims it’ll be fine, but I’m wondering if it will work in my mac, even if i still keep one of my 1GB DDR2 cards installed…
