  Will CS4 Extended extracting tools work on video?

  I have Photoshop CS4 Extended. I cannot figure out if the extraction tools will work on video. I created a smart object, but have only been able to get the extraction tools to work on the first frame. I’ve been looking in the manual and online but haven’t found a definitive answer. I’d really appreciate a nudge in the right direction!
