will an FCP upgrade reduce crashing?
I currently have FCP3 installed on my 10.3.9 Mac. It’s been much more crashy lately and I noted that FCP5 is compatible with my 10.3.9 and Quicktime 7.2. If I were to move to FCP5, do you think it might reduce the amount of crashing I’ve been experiencing with FCP3?
I can’t afford to upgrade beyond Mac 10.3.9 as it would delegate 10’s of thousands of $$$ of equipment and software to the junkheap.

Hi John,
Probably FC5 or 6 will work better with Tiger than FCSP3.
The last FC version have been launched almost in parallel with Snow Leopard and QTX, and with those system in mind.
