    Hi,

Heres the situation, the company i work for has the camera and is capturing all the digital video off of it right now. They want to know if they can send it to me (via mailed harddrives 🙂 ) in M2T format (the raw MPEG2-HD format).

Will Adobe Premiere allow this format of video to be imported for editing?

I’m hoping it will because this is much easier than encoding everything into CineForm AVI’s.

Im new to the HD editing so bear with me. Thanks!

I’m pretty sure you can, but you may need the MainConcept plug-in to either get them to play smoothly or to get them to read at all. Suggest you download the demo and give it a shot.

Just tried importing an M2T into PremPro 1.5.1 into an HDV project and got ‘File format not supported’. Looks like you’ll need Cineform !
