Will Adobe Premiere CS4 import Avid files?
I am taking over editing a local TV show, I am using Adobe Premiere CS4, the previous editor was using Avid. I will I be able to take his avid video files and use them on Adobe Premiere. Or will have to put everything to tape and then capture them as .mov files in Adobe Premiere?

Install the Avid software codecs (Google it). You will have to render to get smooth playback.
