    Sorry for a simple question…
    I know tha the wiggle has 5 parameters and I understand the functions of the first second third and fifth, but not the 4th

    I did some research but I can’t seem to find a good explanation.
    In the adobe help section, it says that the fourth is the octaves, but that makes no sense whatsoever.
    Basically, can someone explain what the forth parameter is in simple understandable terms 😛

    Wiggle uses something like a perlin noise algorithm, you can compare the octaves with the complexity parameter of the fractal noise effect.
    You start off with a very soft ondulation at the base frequency, adding an octave means adding a smaller component that has double the frequency, but adds only half the intensity. Which makes the noise (or wiggle) more grainy.
