    Hey Guys,

Got a (probably) really simple thing to sort out,

I have a comp with a bunch of layers distributed in 3d, camera pulling back through it, layers having position keyframes to alter their location in relation to the camera (see images attached)

We are wanting to create a “slight float” for all the notes on screen but when I apply a basic wiggle tio create the float it obviously disregards the keyframes for the movement that is currently there…

What’s the simplest way to sort this out?

    Yours in after effecting

EDIT: Durr, I had forgotten that wiggle() doesn’t overwrite keyframes. See Dan’s post below.

wiggle() is unusual in that it doesn’t replace the keyframed value–the wiggle automatically includes the keyframed value. I’m not sure what your issue is unless you have the amplitude so high that it’s overwhelming the original motion.

Just keyframe it along your path, then add this expression to the position:

    wiggle(10,100)

And is should wiggle along the path of the keyframes.
