    Hi

    I am trying to understand something which is bugging me.

    I have a Panasonic GS270. I have extracted the footage and it shows perfectly, but when i click to watch the clips, in the right hand monitor it doesn

    I’m not sure if I understand your problem correctly – but have you tried right-click on the item in the project window and click ‘Interpret footage’. If you have a widescreen clip, click ‘conform to’ and select the correct widescreen option (1.422 for PAL etc).

    Sounds like you just need to resize the footage. For example, shooting with DVCPro 25 in widescreen format, we have to resize the image to 75% in order to get it to look like that first picture. The rest of the video is still there, just hanging off the edges. That’s what works for us. You can copy and paste the “Motion” properties from one clip to others to save time when scaling everything to 75%. Let me know if this helps, or if it’s a totally different problem.
