  Widescreen issues (PAR device related?)

  I shot some SD footage on the HVX200 in normal mode (wich is 16:9 AFAIK),
  and imported the footage in a 16:9 project, but i can’t for the life of me get it to import properly.
  It imports 4:3, and it is 4:3, as re-interpreting the footage doesn’t work, it squeezes the footage. I doublechecked in AE. Let me explicitly state that i didn’t capture through the HVX200, but through an old Sony consumercam wich is 4:3.

  Might the pixel aspect ratio be lost when captured through a different cam? Seems unlikely to me, as the lens is anamorphic, and the chip is anamorphic/16:9 hence, the footage should be.

  Any thoughts on this?
