    Hi All,

I’m shooting a series of webisode with my DVX100A. I want to have it appear on the web/youtube in wide screen.

What is the best way to aquire the footage to a Mac via firewire?

What other tips about files, saving, optimizing, youtube, or anything else I sould know.

Can I shoot the footage in 24p?

Should I shoot in squeeeze mode or letterbox?—-I want it to look great on the web.

    Thank you,

    Chill Will

Firewire- yes, 24p yes, 16:9 squeeze yes. YouTube will accept all and do the proper aspect ratio conversions for you. But pay close attention to their footage format requirements. Deliver exactly as described for their latest specs and you’ll be fine.
