Wich last generation graphic card to run AE at best?and wich component?
hi everybody!My 1st today s question is:wich are the best last generation graphics cards to run ae AT BEST(i also make editing video wit canopus hardware on board)?I VE A p4 CPU 3.4GHZ and 2gbddr2 ram on board.i know the ram do the 90% of thejob but Anyway.. suggestions?may be theres not only one, but someone has tested any of them on his workstation?i gave a look to nvidia ones and found that quadro type are very good but too expensive;turning down my target i was impressioned by the 7800 gtx 2dhtv 256mb,what do you think about?could the Dual Channel Memory feel you the difference while using AE?
generally speaking, someone has tested some components works best than others with AE?im buildin up my new WS(my 5 years old one was an amd 900mhz cpu /1gbb ram /50gb scsi HD..)and spending money,so i would avoid any waste of money(im sure everyone of you understand me).

At this point, video cards do almost nothing in AE. They help with the 3D view when you have it set to open GL, but any decent card should do fine.
