  Why is the Sekonic C500 Kelvin meter so off???

  Weird SekonicC500 colour issue

  • I am using the Canon XF300 4:2:2 video camera

  • I did a Kelvin reading with my Sekonic C500, my reading was 5400 Kelvin,

  • Kelvins are all the same on all the video lights

  • The monitor on the XF300 was detecting a blue tinge

  • I did a manual grey card white blance- got 6200 Kelvin

  • The monitor on the XF300 shows a white balanced image

  WTF… Why is the Sekonic Kelvin meter so off???
