Why is the “Reveal in Finder” button grayed out in Compressor?!
This is a new one for me. I sent a few jobs to Compressor from Final Cut Pro but the “Reveal in Finder” icon next to all the files is grayed out. It even says “Successful” which leads me to believe the job was complete. The setting I chose was “DVD: Best Quality”. Destination for the files was “Source”. I even performed a general Finder search in the mac by typing in the file name but the MPEG 2/Dolby Digital files were no where to be found.

Problem solved. I just exported them into quicktime files (self contained) and then sent them to compressor.
