Why is Position Reset sending item far out of frame?
Lead-In:
Dumb question.I have a shape layer. When I click “Reset” on the Transform property, it resets to 960/540. This is expected.
The weird part is that this Reset doesn’t bring my layer into the Composition Frame. To bring it into my Composition Frame, I need to drag it to -3448/-4004.
The “Reset” to 960/540 sends my layer way out of frame. Screenshot of Comp Viewer below.
I would like to be able to understand more about why this happens. Can anyone please direct me on what basics I need to read up to understand this more?
Again, dumb question, I know. I tried to search for an answer to this, but couldn’t find related issues.

Show a screenshot of your entire Composition panel and a screenshot of your shape layer in the Timeline panel.
