why is 16×9 footage from deck capturing at 4×3?
the saga continues.
have J30 deck working. can capture into vegas. project settings are PAL widescreen. Vegas capture has aspect ratio in preview window of 16×9
why do the clips show up on timeline as 4×3 within 16×9 window, ie squashed on the sides?
when playing clips in WMP, are def 4×3.material shot on 16×9 with digibeta. settings were correct 100% on camera.

ok, read in manual that i need to set project media manually to 16×9. doesn’t make sense that i should have to do that with each clip
what am I doing wrong? prob very simple issue, but was up until 5am trying to get deck to work
