Unfortunately, it had no effect.

December 4, 2007 at 9:26 pmMan, that is weird. I am seeing the same thing over here. I rarely use QT conversion.
A work around is to put markers in your timeline, export a QT ref movie, then open the movie in QT and skip ahead to the markers and export the stills from QT.

December 4, 2007 at 9:31 pmWhen exporting a single Interlaced field you can clean it up by applying a De-Interlace filter in Photoshop.

December 4, 2007 at 10:00 pmMaybe downgrading to QT 7.2 would be the best way to go. Wouldn’t know how to go about that but someone here must.

December 4, 2007 at 10:04 pmIt perhaps seems like QT Export is screwing up the anamorphic conversion of DVCPRO-HD coming out of FCP.
Can you open the captured quicktime file in QT player and export a still from there? it should be fine…
looks like a specific FCP bug…. one of so many in version 6.

December 4, 2007 at 10:04 pmAfter you render the material how does it look in FCE? The way it did before? Different?
All the best,
Tom
