    Hi everyone!

wondering if any of you have an answer to this. Yes I know… the text generator in FCP has never been the best, but since I upgraded to FCP6 it has become almost unusable… as well as livetype. If I’m working in SD, i have to make a title in HD and then shrink it down on the SD timeline just to get rid of SOME (but not all) the anti-aliasing. Any ideas? I’m stumped.

i’m on an 8core machine w/8gb’s of ram if that matters. all timeline options are set to “best” resolutions.

Thge poster was having the same issue and he found that fixing permissions (probably with disk utility) fixed the problem. Let us know if it works for you.
