Why does some of my video clips in my video look smaller on different computers?
I’ve been very confused why my videos are sometimes smaller on different computers.
I was making a highlight tape for a teammate and I was making it 1080 by 720 and some not all the clips are smaller than that so I put (Scale to Frame Size) and I export it and it worked perfect then I played on another computer and it worked fine but when I did it on my friends computer there was black spaces like if I never Scaled it to Frame size! Its not only his computer it has happened on other computers and I’m confused because it works perfect some computers and some not.

Are you ecoding the video through AME? And, do you mean 1280 x720?
Please share your encoding settings and that might shed some light on what is going on.

No I just use the export in Premiere but is there a monitor setting that this happens because on a lot of different computers it works perfect none of the clips are shrunk but there are some computers that this issue happens one of the computers was outdated.

It’s really hard to tell exactly what is going on with the encoded file if we do not know what your encoding settings are. Please share your settings from the PrPro export panel and maybe someone here can help you out.

It depends on the extension of your video. Better to choose compatible extension to make the quality of your video. Salt lake City Studio

If you make 16:9 footage and you’re watching it on a 4:3 or 16:10 display it will be letterboxed.

Oh that make sense and also my export setting was the setting it came with I didn’t customize it.

Have all of your clients buy a monitor of every possible aspect ratio in the world. Or not. There isn’t nothing to “fix” here.
