Why does our Final Cut Batch Exports incorrectly name sequence files?
For example I can Batch Export 10 sequences:
Then the output for some of the files are along the lines of:
“899-006TL013 It’s No#61386E.mov”What is going on here and is there any way to avoid or remedy this issue?
We first thought having the render destination window open caused it but that was not the source.
Any ideas?Thank you!

Shorten your file names and use underscores_instead_of_spaces.

Although I’m all for shorter file names and no spaces, that is out of my hands.
But, really?
Every other program we use, After Effects, Episode, VisualHub, Motion, Color, Photoshop, PREMIERE can handle the length and spaces. Seems quite questionable. Plus, it doesn’t happen to every file with spaces and long name length. Seems more… random.
