Why do my subclips show up as sequence files in my bin?
Very sorry for this beginner problem, but for some reason when I try to make a subclip the subclip file shows up in my bin as a sequence file. This is limiting my capabilities in making transitions and does not allow me to leave handles in my subclips. I will be very grateful for any suggestions.

a subclip should be a film icon with jagged edges.
You define a subclip so you would have to add in the handles before you make the subclip, or disconnect the subclip boundaries when you want to do a transition.
