  • Why do my sped up clips loose their color correction when I export them? … Any help is much appreciated

I have been using PP CS4 for a while now and have never run into this problem. I am cutting a music video and it has some pretty funky color correction. But when I export the clips that have the color correction and are regular speed are fine and the ones that are sped up or slowed down are way too dark.

So I tried a Video Limiter, and it was still to dark. Then I tried a Broadcast safe. Same thing. So I took one of the clips that was sped up and put it back to regular speed and exported it and it looked just like it was supposed to.

I have exported with many different codec’s and formats and its always the same thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. And thanks in advance.

I have the same problem with a clip — it has no effect nor any color correction. The only thing that was done to it was to speed it up. When the piece was rendered, that sped up portion dropped in brightness. Anyone have any ideas here?

    Thanks

Yes that is exactly it. I am glad I am not the only one.
