Why do I have to render a ProRes clip in a ProRes timeline?
I’ve just made the jump from FCP7 and usually I can just drop a ProRes 422HQ clip into a ProRes 422HQ sequence and not have to render.
When I do the same in Premiere Pro I get a yellow render bar, and after rendering it, I get a green render bar. Even though I’ve set the sequence settings to this:
Why do I have to render it?
