Why do I have to capture noise print twice?
Lately I’ve noticed that when I do noise reduction in Audition CS 5.5, the initial noise print that I capture has no effect when I process the noise reduction filter. I have to capture the same portion of audio a second time before the noise reduction process takes effect.
This isn’t a major issue, just a minor annoyance and it only seems to happen the first time I use the filter after opening the application. It works fine each time after that until I close Audition.
It didn’t always do that, so I’m wondering if updating the OS has anything to do with it.
