tell me why my standard mac mouse started acting like a winblows right mouse button…

restarted the mac and all is well but during some editing sessions this may cause and did… undo stress

why would the mouse do this… the transition to the mac plaform has been great then this minor issue rears…

What’s the computer? is it new? What’s the mouse? Is it a Mighty Mouse? It can be used as a right-clicking mouse, though the default stupidly is not. Use the right button. Use the scroll wheel. They work and are extremely useful in the pro apps.

    All the best,

    Tom

You have a Mighty Mouse. Go to System Preferences Keyboard & Mouse, and in the Mouse panel change the configuration to however you like.

    All the best,
