  • Why can’t I see my markers’ names? In either video window

    Hi,

I want to use markers to take notes so that I can mark what clips I want in what location of my timeline. When my playhead is overtop of a marker, the name doesn’t show. Why is this? I would have to press m to the “edit Marker” popup to see what the note is. Why is this?

please help, very frustrating. thanks (FCP7)

Turn on “Show Overlays” in the third oval button near the top of the Canvas window. Use option +m to navigate to previous markers and shift +m to go forwards to the next so you know you’re really on them.
