I just logged a bunch of clips from vhs and now they are “OFFLINE Unrendered”. How did this happen and is it possible to render them so I can use those clips? I’m using G4 Dual Processor, FCP 4.5 and Formac Studio. My project is saved on an external hard drive. Please help me prevent disaster now and in the future.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I’m just learning this forum. I’m using G4 1.25 GHZ Dual Processor, 1GB DDR SDRAM, FCP 4.5 and Formac Studio to log the video which is vhs using S-Video. My project is saved on an external hard drive, my capture scratch is on the standard internal HD. I started a project years ago that I just picked up again. I just recently logged and captured the footage that went offline. I think I was moving around some wires and accidentally knocked my external hard drive switch that shut it off while open.

Another thing I could use help with. My mother board and logic board fried on my G4 years back. Comp USA fixed it. I use to have a 2nd internal hard drive that my system no longer recognizes. How can I locate in and reinstall it? I don’t know if I have the discs or not.

    Thanks again.
