    Why am I seeing Alpha squares instead of black on playback during transitions

    So , please someone put me out of my misery

    When I apply blurs or transitions in Adjustment layers in CC 2015.3 , on playback I can see the white and grey blocks I would usually associate with Alpha channels. When I render out it is black

    Have I got something ticked I am not aware of ?
