  Whites clipping in Deck control when using “Grab Frame”

  I am using Deck Control to grab frames from a live 1080 source. (Sony F900/3). I am using easy setup ‘Blackmagic HDTV 108023.98 – 8bit’. When I output via Photoshop ‘Blackmagic Image Export’. The images’ white (highlight) information is always clipped above 100ire (700mv). Is this due to a limitation in the capture codec? Or a colur space conversion limitation? When i capture a quicktime movie using the same 8 bit Easy Setup – there is no clipping. Why do the still images clip?
