    Hi,

recently I found a bug in Vegas 10 that drives me nuts.

I am editing a big videoclip (it’s a 3 minute project but contains pretty much effects and masking) and sometimes, when I open the project, some thumbnails appear plain white and they simply do not show the picture. When I exchange them once again, they work, but some other turn white instead.

What’s interesting, I am also editing a pilot of a travel program that has tons of footage and I have already edited 36 minute project rather with no problems. But I haven’t used any effects yet (maybe this is the cause). But… once I decided to play with the stabilizing addon in Vegas 10 and when I applied this feature to some clips, the white thumbnails started to appear the same as in the music video.

Do you know this issue? Has it been reported somewhere? It seems it’s a matter of adding some effects that require rendering subclips.

    big thanks for help

I don’t have an answer for this, but I’ve been experiencing the same thing, and I’ve spent hours re-working files because of it.
Most of my issues have been with projects started in Vegas Pro 9, and then converting to Pro 10 and trying to finish them. I’m not using 64-bit yet, so I don’t think that’s the issue.
