I have an AI file set to a certain artboard size. I’m trying to export the file as a JPEG for web use. This has never happened to me before, but the exported JPEG has a fat white border on the top and right of the art.

There is not a lingering text box or other information that the export is including. I’ve tried putting a filled box behind the image and that doesn’t help. I’ve tried rebuilding the art, saving under different names, saving for web, etc. and nothing helps!

Any ideas? (obviously the white doesn’t show on the uploaded image, but it’s there)

If there’s artwork that is right at the edge (or snaps to the edge) of the artboard, make sure you modify it so that the artwork actually stretches OVER or goes OUTSIDE the artboard.
