White Bar on right side of Quicktime export
I have seen that some of my QT exports out of Final Cut or Compressor end up with a big white bar to the right of the video. The bar is not over any video and the QT inspector says that all the specs are normal. The bar appears on any computer I view the file on. If I import back into Final Cut the bar doesn’t affect anything. However, If I have to send these files to a client, I want them to look normal. Does anybody have an explanation? Is this a quirk in the player. MAC OS C 10.6.8, Final Cut suite 7. QT X.

Hi mike,
You may try with the Clip Properties (Cmd-J)> Video Track > Visual settings.
