    Is it best to white balance using white or zebra color card. What is best for having an all white backdrop with talent in darker color clothing.

    all white.
    …under the same lighting the talent will be under.

    Avid’s CC will let you eyedrop what was to be white and aplly it as white to the clip.

    You use a white card for color balance, the mid grey one is for exposure.

    Would that be in BCC colors and blurs? I have Media Composer v4.0.5.

    Sorry…but having trouble seeing where in CC the effect that allows me to use color eyedrop to let the background color I would like. Can you be more specific…appreciate it man!

    when/why you one need to use gray for exposure balance…do you still need to do a white balance too?
