    Hi guys

    Hoping you can advise. I’m a web designer in a UK High School and we’re about to buy in a 3D screen, so it’s falling to me to create 3D resources for that screen.

    I’ve had the chance to use with a friend’s copy of C4D for the last month while he’s been on extended holiday (wish i had a job like that) and am feeling confident enough to reccomend buying C4D.

    But…there’s different versions and I’ve no idea which to get. He’s still on holiday and I can’t tell if the basic one, CINEMA 4D R10 (UK:

    Hi,

    of course having it all opens all possibilities, but will you need all features?
    Don’t forget that you still can add missing modules later, if you feel that a tool is missing.
    If money is a factor, I would buy the basic C4D first (this already includes everything you need to make great stills and animations). Start working with it and try to explore its full potential before thinking abuot other modules.
