    Which Version of Boris FX Should I Use For Final Cut Pro?

    Greetings!
    I am looking to purchase Boris FX for my Final Cut Pro system:

    2.5GHz Quad-core PowerPC G5
    4GB DDR533 NON ECC 4X1GB
    2X500GB Serial ATA-7200rpm
    16x SD DL(DVD-R/CD-RW)
    NVIDIA GF 6600 256 SDRAM
    Final Cut Studio 5.0.1

    I have been hearing of some compatibility issues with Boris FX and Final Cut Pro.
    I see there is a new version, 9, and an older version, 8.
    Which would be best for my system and why?
    Any suggestions and info is appreciated.

    Kevin, the current version of FX (v9) should work just fine with FCP 5.0.1. Most of the compatibility issues are with FCP 5.1.x.
