Which sequence codec should I use?
I have a lot of DV footage, but also have many animations imported from AE that were created with the Animation codec (as Quicktime files obviously). Which codec should my sequence in FCP be to not lose any quality on the Animation codec files? I’m assuming it shouldn’t be DV..

Which ProRes, 422? Will ProRes darken the colors at all?

ProRes 422, or HQ…but NTSC (meaning SD…720×486). And no, it shouldn’t darken…

Okay, I’ll try 422 first to see how long that takes.
The DV footage is 720×480 though, right..? But I’m guessing that doesn’t matter..
