*better for Final Cut.
I use it for internet, and light (LIGHT) gaming. (not graphic intensive games)

Hi Aj,
I think that GPU is not enough to run well FC.
Also with a 13″ you will need a second screen (unless you want to get blind) and that will rest more resources from the poor GPU.
At least a 15″ and at least 512MB Cache GPU.

I do have an external monitor. I have my MBP (the core2duo) right now and it runs fcp fine (slow rendering, but its all i could afford)
Im curious if the other one is better and worth an extra 100 bucks?

I think that you will notice the difference.
I’ve passed from a Core2 Duo (2.4?) to an i7 (2.6?) and runs like double fast.
