Serial markings (back of the card):
    AJA Video G 57712
    VSC 00294484

On the PCB surface, lower right corner: 102035-01.

    Does it tell you anything?

That’s very, very helpful Gary! 🙂 But for the record, he doesn’t.

The AJA TV app does display HD modes (720 and 1080 variants) along with SD modes, in “Display” menu – as does AJA QTToDPXTranslator. Does it mean with absolute certainty that it’s an LHe?

The G5 doesn’t have an FCP and I don’t want to install it. Is there any other way to test the basic functionality of the card?

    Again, TIA.

Is the AJA Control Panel installed on the system? In there, under the Info tab, you have the Hardware ID which should answer the question.

Bingo, that’s what was missing in the installation. Thanks JC, that did it. It’s an LHe.
