  • Which Codec for miniDV

    Hey team,

I have noticed after installing the AJA software there is no real AJA codec for NTSC or PAL miniDV format.
So which is the best to use with the Panasonic AJ HD1400?

    Thanks

well how was it shot? DV HDV? putting that to the side you might fint is best for editing to import it into a Pro Res format that is what I do with all footage DV, HDV and HD
    hope this helps

The footage is DV, I my first guess was to use the Pro Res codec. Apple native right? ;o)
But I just rebuild another edit station and noticed in the install of the AJA ioHD there is a option for more easy setup for other formats. (This station was passed down might just have to reinstall this guy)

This is my first time using AJA ioHD so any tips for which codec for which formats would help out. :o)

    Thanks
