Which Codec for miniDV
Posted by Thomas Frank on May 13, 2009 at 8:25 amHey team,
I have noticed after installing the AJA software there is no real AJA codec for NTSC or PAL miniDV format.
So which is the best to use with the Panasonic AJ HD1400?Thanks

May 13, 2009 at 5:59 pmThe footage is DV, I my first guess was to use the Pro Res codec. Apple native right? ;o)
But I just rebuild another edit station and noticed in the install of the AJA ioHD there is a option for more easy setup for other formats. (This station was passed down might just have to reinstall this guy)This is my first time using AJA ioHD so any tips for which codec for which formats would help out. :o)
Thanks
