April 24, 2006 at 12:34 amFor capturing DV, all you need is a good Firewire 400 card or FW on the motherboard.

I know I can capture DV by I-link but my question was different, I want to know more capture card that are compatible with premiere.

April 25, 2006 at 3:00 pmAlot of users had the Canopus DVStorm2 which apparently isn’t supported in PPro 2.0. I had the excellent Pinnacle Pro-ONE card years ago but was burned by Pinnacle when they dropped support for Premiere. I stopped buying the RT cards because they have such a short life cycle. PPro 2.0 works fine without them if you have a decent system.
