Which BMGK card?
About to put together a second edit suite for our wee company. We will be using FCP on a Apple Mac Pro 3gig 8 core Intel Xeon machine.
We are currently cutting purely SD Digibeta material but will be converting to HD in the forseeable future.
Forgive the ignorance of this question;
As we have had good performance from the BMGK Decklink HD Pro card in our current system I want to use the same model in our new system – but do I get the HD Pro PCIe card or the HD Pro PCIx card? I guess the x uses the faster bus system (wandering into unknown territory here!) so would it be the better choice?Any suggestions? Thanks, Pete

New Mac Pros use PCIe (PCI Express) buses only, so it’s DeckLink HD Pro PCIe you’ll need.
