Where’s the RT drop down options?
I am fairly new to FCP 4.5. That said, I have a handful of Quicktimes I have created at different points in the past; some from Discreet’s Edit*, and some from Premier 6.5. When I put most of these clips into a FCP sequence, the RT options are not available in the RT timeline drop down window. Do the clips have to be captured in FCP in order for these settings to be available? I have made sure to change the sequence settings to match the clips properties, i.e aspect ratio, compression settings, audio sample rate etc. But why can I not change my RT settings from the little timeline drop down menu? The drop down menu only appears in codecs that are supported by RT Extreme.
