Where to buy Avid Media Composer Academic in UK?
Any suggestions? The websites I’ve found on Google look slightly suspect! Also, there was no Mac/Win preference requested. Is this correct.

All version ship with both Mac and PC installers on the same disk, so that won’t matter. AFAIK, the only way to buy educational is from a brick & morter reseller, where one will have to prove that one is eligible for an Academic license. Quite often, film schools or training institutes will have a shop that can sell you Academic licenses, but in theory, any reseller should be able to.

My reseller of choice for Avid is Root6, but that’s because I’ve known a chap there called John Harris for years….
Mention my name if you use them, it probably won’t make much difference though. 😉
