Where to Begin with Sony Vegas?
Douglas, I saw your book on Vegas 8.0. I’m just beginning video editing and I have started with Vegas Movie Studio 9.0. I’m wondering if there is a book coming out for 9.0, or what to get as a “starting primer” for video editing. I’m primarily a “home movie” guy. I’m well schooled on the PC side (MCSE), and have good hardware, but very little editing knowledge.

If you have Spot’s book, I would highly recommend you take a look at the Vasst training series at http://www.vasst.com for Sony Vegas. They are very helpful and you can watch them while you follow along on your editor.
