Where Is The Foley I Downloaded?
Hi all! I downloaded the foley audio from the Premiere site, and it showed up in my downloads folder of course. Is there no way to import the contents directly into a dedicated folder in Premiere? Please advise.
As with most stuff, I am sure this is simple, and I’ll kick myself once a solution presents itself.

When you actually do your download, you can specify where you want it to go, by using the Save As feature, rather than the Save feature. This will give you the choice of putting the files wherever you can access them the easiest (I don’t find the My Downloads folder to be the place of choice). In my case, I have separate media drives where I keep all my non-project assets. There’s an Audio folder, and I keep all of my audio and music clips in categorized folders for easy access. Then when I use one of them in a project, I copy the file to the project folder, so I won’t lose track of it if I have to make revisions at a later date.

Thanks, Joseph. I ended up with a similar solution, and am glad to know that I’m not crazy or just missing something simple. And please let me assure you, Robert, that the sounds are really good. Its a wide variety, and well-recorded sounds.
