this is a stupid question but i just can’t find where to adjust the brightness of my sequence in AE 7. i have searched tutorials but it must be so obvious nobody bothered to explain.. i am most confused..

also i wish to find out how to key out the unsafe areas and specify the maximum signal amplitude as the last time i tested it on a tv it looked about 6 billion times too bright..

thank you in advance for your advice.

    thanks also for this.
i was hoping for something like in FCP where you can tell it to tell you where the overly bright areas are and you can adjust by looking. as you can probably tell i’m not really a numbers person, but your method makes some sense so i will try that. thanks.
