  Where is a Channel Effect?

  I just read a tutorial on smoothing skin in AE. It uses a channel mixer effect that lets you take the Red Channel of a duplicated clip and use it as a luminance mask to smooth out the skin. Since the red channel is usually the cleanest.

  Anyone know how i can achieve this effect in AVID?
