January 28, 2008 at 8:37 pmOkay.
Apple Menu > System Preferences > Accounts
Click the little lock on the bottom left corner and enter your password.
Click the plus sign to add an account, enter the info and be sure the check the box that says to let you administer the computer.
Then go the apple menu and log out of your current user, then log in as the new user. Reinstall the p2 driver software. See if that works.

January 28, 2008 at 9:49 pm….I thought that’s what you meant, just wasn’t sure because of the wording….anyway…. it didn’t work…. or least nothing is happening any differently than before…. I’m at wits end.

January 28, 2008 at 10:02 pmWoops, sorry about the wording of that last post. My fingers were totally getting carried away there.
Wow, Mark. I am totally shocked. The only thing I can say is to do a full ground up reinstall. Total erase and install of everything. OS, FCP, P2 everything. A pisser for sure, but I bet it’d fix your problem.

January 28, 2008 at 10:22 pm….I’m not doubting your knowledge on this… I just can’t help but think that I’ve done something wrong along the way…… So, I need to get this straight… I’ve
— installed the P2Drive and P2StoreDriver (even though I don’t have the P2Store) from the Panasonic site…
— still having a problem with the P2PCCard install failing…
— unclicked the Remove Advance Pulldown and Duplicate Frames
— Verified and Repaired Permissions
— Plenty of space on scrach discs
— taken a couple of Xanax to get me through the night.
…..God, what have I done wrong?

January 29, 2008 at 2:30 amI am at a loss myself unless there’s something busted in your system that I can’t see from here.
I hate to say it man, time to reload your whole system.

January 29, 2008 at 6:43 pm….God Bless Raylight!! …..alleviated my issue and it was relatively painless…. Thanks for all the help here, guys…. I’m not sure that I would’ve been so patient with me.
Thanks again!
