July 22, 2008 at 8:18 pmdownloaded vegas 8.0 Pro demo and now I can see that it was the DX version that was packaged up with the plug-in that I was using as it shows up twice in vegas 8.0 both as a DX and as a VST. I like how easly 8.0 keeps track of plug-ins and it is nice to have a real audio mixer. It should have been added a long time ago.
I don’t like that the program automaticaly opens up with the time line on the bottom. I know why they did it and I found how to change it.
I can see I am going to have to up grade to 8.0 to run all the cool studio plug ins and toys that I want get like Amplitube Meatl and Classic Studio Reverbs for my hobby recording.
I use Vegas primarly for pro video editing but for fun I compose and recod msuic with it.
I never could get the rest of BLue Cat plugs to work even in 8.0.
